Thomas Sleet is a contemporary sculptor and installation artist whose work explores the tension between organic form and industrial material. Working primarily in steel, concrete, and reclaimed metal, his sculptures occupy space with a quiet, commanding presence.
Born and raised in the American Midwest, Sleet developed an early fascination with the built environment — its decay, its persistence, and the stories embedded in its surfaces. This sensibility informs every piece he creates.
His work has been exhibited in galleries and public spaces across the United States and Europe. He currently lives and works in Chicago, Illinois.
